Fun Stuff -
Is it impossible to fold a piece of
paper more than 7 times?

Nicholas says he can!
(Let's see.......)
Once!
And again....
Third time...
Really putting muscle into it!
FOUR!
SEVEN TIMES! YEAH!
Nicholas set off with a huge piece of drafting paper, it was                .  First
he folded it in half and then in half again.  We discovered early on that if
you continue to fold it this way, you can only get the paper to fold 6 times.
He continued to fold and fold over and over until he finally had to really put muscle into it and used his entire body weight to
make the folds.
At fold number 6, he couldn't fold it anymore.  So, I said, lets try folding it not on itself each time, but lengthwise onto it's self.
So as you can see in the above photo, folding the paper end over end we were
able to fold it seven times, but no more!
